Inflatable Structures - The Design of a Lifetime

For the best part of the last ten years inflatable structures have played a vivid and prominent role in the event industry. They are possibly the most widely used temporary structures for events, marketing campaigns, exhibitions and festivals. Their rise in popularity is evident at almost every event you attend. But who is behind the creation of these marvelous designs? What use are companies making from them? We delve into the world of inflatable structures as we discuss the design of a lifetime.

The Creation of Inflatable Structures.
I would imagine the following is debatable. The 'who first came up the idea' usually creates its fair share of debate. In 1959 an engineer from Louisiana called John Scurlock was experimenting with inflatable covers for tennis courts. Upon discovering that people like to walk, bounce and generally jump around on his inflatable cover, John began delving deeper into inflatables. He would eventually become the pioneer of early inflatable domes. The initial link to our modern inflatable structures comes from what we know as a 'Bouncy Castle'.  John Scurlock's early findings would lead to generations of his family experimenting with inflatable structures and creating the first 'Space Walk' inflatable from which their company name came from. Fast forward a few years and inflatable structures were being designed with pressurized air cavity walls. Inflatable structures could now be used as a temporary structure for all kinds of events.

Inflatable Structures for your events.
Businesses are now using a whole range of inflatable structures of all different shapes and sizes for all kinds of events such as temporary marketing campaigns, exhibitions and any other events where a temporary room is required. Inflatable structures are ideal for hospitality and with big business being all about hospitality these days, the rush is on to hire a temporary structure that not only inflates in minutes, but delivers a stunning atmosphere in which to impress customers. And there we have it! Brief but you wouldn't want me to go on all day about inflatable structures would you? They inflate in minutes. You can put them almost anywhere. They look amazing. You can hire them from event companies such as Evolution Dome. They will impress your customers beyond their expectations. They are a solution to an old age problem, commonly known as, 'space'. It's no wonder I named them 'A Design of a Lifetime'. What kind of temporary venue are you going to choose for your next event?
